SEASONS MEDICAL SPA RAISES MONEY FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AND PROVIDES SKIN CARE EDUCATION

Seasons Medical Spa featured medical aesthetician Alicia Turner in an educational seminar “Hydration…It’s not just for dry skin” on September 14 & 15. Participants discovered how home care and professional spa treatments can combine to provide the hydration that is necessary for healthy, younger-looking skin. After an opportunity to ask questions, and enjoy snacks, door prizes were presented, including a gift certificate for the new “Ultra-Tone Facial”.

Spa Director Cindy Morrow also shared how having a yearly mammogram provided early detection for her mother, who is approaching two years as a breast cancer survivor. Just as proper skincare combines a home care plan with professional treatments, women should combine monthly breast self-examinations with regularly scheduled mammograms.

Donations were given to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks to fund activities promoting October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. BCFO provides individual support for patients undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer.

This was the first of a series of free educational seminars sponsored by Seasons Medical Spa. All seminars include refreshments and door prizes and are located at Seasons, 1531 E. Bradford Pkwy., Suite 215, Springfield, MO.
